PRAMBANAN TEMPLE AFTER 27 MAY, 2006 EARTHQUAKE

Tectonic earthquake that struck Yogyakarta and Central Java on May 27, 2006 with a strength of 5.7 on the Richter scale has caused damage to the building including cultural preservation, among other buildings in the Prambanan temple complex.
As a first step, is carried out rescue activities (rescue) and research activities by involving experts from various disciplines, both national (experts from Gadjah Mada University) and internationally.
